Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Dr. Daniel Bernstein of Greensburg, Penn., as department head and associate professor of hotel-motel-restaurant management.
In recognition of national disability employment awareness month, a free performance called “Taking the ‘Dis’ Out of Disability” will be performed on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation recently held a 5K Run/Walk, along with the 2013 Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge, at the college campus in Salisbury.

The public is invited to attend a free “Echoes and Visions” reading and reception on Friday, Oct. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College.
Wor-Wic Community College is holding a community flea market on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. There will be crafts, collectibles and antiques. Hot dogs, baked goods and drinks will also be sold.
Area residents have until Friday, Sept. 27, to register for the American College Testing (ACT) examination, which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
