Millions of Americans spend lots of money caring for their pets, so it’s no surprise that veterinary medicine is a fast-growing field. Veterinarians don’t work on their own — they need skilled professionals who can assist in the delivery of high quality pet care.

Learn about every aspect of veterinary assisting, including anatomy and physiology, animal restraint, laboratory sample collection, assisting in surgery and dentistry, prescription preparation and taking radiographs.
Prerequisites: Students must meet minimum diagnostic reading comprehension and arithmetic scores. Free testing is available in our testing center. Students can complete the course application anytime after they meet the prerequisites and will have six months to complete the online course.
