A total of 570 Wor-Wic Community College students have been recognized for superior performance by being named to the dean’s list for the recently-completed spring semester.

Wor-Wic Community College students Ebony Jenkins of Snow Hill and Robert McCarroll of Salisbury were selected to travel to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., to participate in the National Community College Aerospace Scholars project (NCAS).

The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk, along with the 2014 Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge, on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Check in and registration begins at 8 a.m.

The following students completed their program requirements to graduate with a certificate of proficiency (CT), associate of applied science (AAS), associate of arts in teaching (AAT), associate of science (AS) or associate of arts (AA) degree from Wor-Wic Community College this past fall or spring.
“Soup du Jour” will be performed in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8 and 9, at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.
