In celebration of African-American history month, the Hugh Gregory Gallagher Theater will perform stories about prominent African-American historical figures on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m., in Room 101 of Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
The continuing education and workforce development division at Wor-Wic Community College will begin offering a five-week Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) training course to prepare students for entry-level jobs in the growing UAS industry.
The student services office at Wor-Wic Community College is still accepting spring credit registrations. In addition to the regular 14-week spring semester that begins Jan. 15, Wor-Wic offers one seven-week session and a 10-week session that also begin Jan. 15, as well as a three-week session that begins Jan. 19 and a second seven-week session beginning March 4.
Fourteen law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Kent counties graduated in the 75th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Wor-Wic Community College is offering “Smart Start Express Registration,” an extended day of spring credit registration services on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Fifteen jail and correctional officers from Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Caroline counties graduated in the 94th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
The following students completed their program requirements to graduate with a certificate of proficiency (CT), associate of applied science (AAS), associate of arts in teaching (AAT), associate of science (AS) or associate of arts (AA) degree from Wor-Wic Community College this past summer.
Wor-Wic Community College recently hosted a Founder’s Day event to celebrate the college’s 40th anniversary.
Wor-Wic Community College is currently accepting registrations for credit classes that are being offered during the spring term, which begins on Friday, Jan. 15. Early registration is encouraged for the best selection of classes. The payment deadline is Thursday, Dec. 17.
