Eighteen law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester, Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Garrett counties graduated in the 68th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
The following students completed their program requirements to graduate with a certificate of proficiency (CT), associate of applied science (AAS), associate of arts in teaching (AAT), associate of science (AS) or associate of arts (AA) degree from Wor-Wic Community College this past fall and spring semesters.
Dr. Ray Hoy, president of Wor-Wic Community College, announced the start of the public phase of a $5 million fundraising campaign at a formal kick-off celebration at the college recently, attended by key donors, and members of the board of trustees, the college foundation and campaign steering committee.
A total of 612 Wor-Wic Community College students have been recognized for superior performance by being named to the dean’s list for the recently completed spring semester.
