Phlebotomy technicians draw blood from patients in a safe and sanitary manner. Career prospects for phlebotomists are very high, and you can be trained and ready to complete your American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians exam.
You will learn how to draw blood and collect biological specimens for tests, match laboratory forms to specimen tubes, draw blood from veins and capillaries, dispose of medical waste and clean medical instruments and equipment for use.
