Law enforcement class graduates
Twenty-one law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot, Caroline and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 94th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

MSCHE reaffirms Wor-Wic’s accreditation
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) recently reaffirmed the accreditation of Wor-Wic Community College after a rigorous process that examined the college’s practices, ethics and outcomes to ensure that Wor-Wic meets its comprehensive accreditation standards.
Grant funds workforce training for heavy equipment operators, CDL
Wor-Wic Community College has received funding from the Maryland Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Commerce to provide scholarships for commercial driver’s license (CDL) and heavy equipment operator courses.
Wor-Wic’s spring dean’s list announced
A total of 551 Wor-Wic Community College students have been recognized for superior performance by being named to the dean’s list for the recently completed spring term.
Wor-Wic announces ratification of first WWCCFA contract
The Wor-Wic Community College board of trustees voted Thursday to ratify the first collective bargaining agreement for the Wor-Wic Community College Faculty Association (WWCCFA), the faculty union that formed in October 2023.
Wor-Wic holds 23rd annual golf tournament
Wor-Wic Community College recently held its 23rd annual golf tournament at the college’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin. Proceeds from the tournament totaled $45,000 and will support the educational needs of Wor-Wic students.
