New Lead Paint Renovation Course to be Held Feb. 12

Contractors and construction workers can learn how to prevent the risk of lead poisoning during renovation activities like sanding, cutting and demolition by taking “Lead Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting.”

Financial Aid Workshops to be Held in February

“FAFSA on the Web,” a series of free financial aid workshops for anyone planning to attend college, will be held on Mondays and Thursdays, Feb. 15, 18, 22 and 25, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Room 111 of the Academic and Administrative Building at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

In celebration of African-American history month, a free musical event called “Song Yet Sung: A Negro Spiritual Tribute” will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
