Wor-Wic Students Inducted into PTK
Fifty-five Wor-Wic Community College students were inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during a ceremony held recently at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Bata Receives Portz Award
Nicole Bata of Salisbury, a general studies student at Wor-Wic Community College, was recently selected as the 2010 winner of the Portz award for an outstanding honors student at a two-year college in Maryland.

Summer program for children to be held at Wor-Wic
The on-campus child development center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury is accepting registrations now through May 28 for the summer program that runs from June 14 through Aug. 20.
Truck driver career fair to be held April 30
Current truck drivers, trucking companies and those interested in beginning a career as a truck driver are invited to attend a free commercial truck driver career fair that is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College on Friday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Arthur W.
