Wor-Wic Community College will host “Write Your Story,” a creative workshop, on Friday, June 14, from 3-4:15 p.m., in the Hazel Center on the college campus at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
The workshop will be led by Sufiya Abdur-Rahman, author of the memoir “Heir to the Crescent Moon” and a winner of the Iowa Prize for Literary Nonfiction. She is creative nonfiction editor for “Cherry Tree,” a literary journal at Washington College in Chestertown, Md., where she is an assistant professor of English.
