Wor-Wic Community College is expanding its computer studies program by offering a new cybersecurity option. “Local students who are interested in cybersecurity can start here with this degree and go anywhere,” said Dr. Curtis Satterfield, technology department head and associate professor of computer studies.
Courses in the new program include cybersecurity ethics, fundamentals of computer architecture, approaches to problem solving, data communications and networking, application of cybersecurity, and computer and network security.
This program is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university.
