National Restaurant Association ManageFirst training offered

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering two courses of National Restaurant Association ManageFirst training for anyone currently working in the industry or aspiring to work in the industry.

One course, “ManageFirst Controlling Food Service Costs,” will be held completely online, beginning on Sept. 16. Another course, “ManageFirst Principles of Food and Beverage Management,” will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning on Sept. 17 and ending on Oct. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., in Room 304 of Fulton-Owen Hall at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Students who pass the certification exam at the end of each course earn a ManageFirst credential through the National Restaurant Association.
