Thirty-five jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Caroline counties graduated in the 105th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Walter West, warden of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).

Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, and Carl L. Crumbacker Sr., ESCJA instructor, presided at the ceremony. Neil B. C. Daubach of ECI was the class speaker.

In addition to Daubach, graduates included Zachary T. Abbott, Jyrell L. Ballard, Cody L. Brock, Tyler A. Kilgore, Kearon D. Lehman Jr., Donavon L. McNeil, Jason H. Morton and Joseph T. Sparrow IV from the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Jesse T. Bozman, Nathan R. Cook and Matthew Swistak of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Mikia R. Bailey, Aaron L. Barton, Deborah A. Brinkley-Bonds, Roland T. Budd, Tina M. Butler, Jamaz S. Clark, Linda M. English, Jessica N. Lewis, Felicia A. Matthews, Jonna Mae P. McIntyre, Thomas J. Messick, Dakota J. Shultz, Michael T. Swem, Michael S. Thomas, Brandon K. West and Briana T. Whittington of ECI, Bartholomew M. Presley, LaJan N. Saunders and Austin C. Willey of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections, Brandi D. Nichols and Brennon T. Shinski of the Talbot County Department of Corrections and Xavier C. Smith and Eriel L. Wicks of the Caroline County Department of Corrections.
