The public is invited to attend a free “Echoes & Visions” reading on Friday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
James Allen Hall will be the keynote author. His works include a book of poetry, “Now You’re the Enemy,” as well as a collection of lyric essays, “I Liked You Before I Knew You So Well.” He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation of the Arts, as well as being a past resident of the University of Arizona Poetry Center. Hall is an associate professor of English and director of the Rose O’Neill Literary House at Washington College in Chestertown.
Current and former Wor-Wic students whose work has been featured in the 30th anniversary issue of “Echoes & Visions” will read selections of their work.
