Dangers of vaping course to be held April 19

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a course called “The Hidden Dangers of Vaping” on Wednesday, April 19, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., in Room 105 of Henson Hall on the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

This course is designed to increase awareness of e-cigarettes, including how they work, why they are popular, side effects, myths and facts. Topics include factors that contribute to youth using e-cigarettes, statistics on popularity and dangers, and resources for prevention and cessation.
