Wor-Wic Community College recently held its 15th annual golf tournament at the college’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin. Proceeds from the tournament totaling more than $30,000 will be used to benefit the college’s on-campus child development center.

This year’s top team for low gross score was the AFLAC team of Brian Shockley, Dale Cropper, Craig Devage and John Hollway, followed by the Wilfre Company team of Tony Pierson, Martin Harrison, Ray Somers and Andrew Haldeman. Third place went to the Eastern Shore Distributors team of Greg Bassett, Eric Rawlinson, John McIntyre and John Littleton.

The top team with the lowest net score was the Mullaney Insurance team of Tom and Cammy Tyson, and Dennis and Lou Jones, followed by the Bank of America team of John Kilian, Monty Sayler, Patrick O’Malley and Greg Langeler. Third place in net score went to the Avery Hall team of Kevin Hayes, Dave Ryan, Bill McCain and Mark Rudnick.

Longest drive winners were Lou Jones and Brian Shockley. Winners of the putting contest were Eric Rawlinson and John Kilian. Closest to the pin prizes were awarded to John Morcom, Vince Luciani, John Umberger and Greg Basset.
