ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP.
Audrey Orr, far left, incoming president of the Rotary Club of Salisbury, and Freddy Mitchell, chairman of the scholarship committee, present a $1,000 scholarship check to Justin McCain of Delmar, an elementary education/generic special education preK-12 transfer major at Wor-Wic Community College, as Kari Schamberger, assistant professor of education and McCain’s advisor, looks on. The Rotary Club provides scholarship funds each year to a Wor-Wic student from Wicomico County who exemplifies the principles of the organization (honesty, fairness, high ethical standards, and international and community service). Selection is based on financial need and scholastic achievement. Students interested in applying for the scholarship for the upcoming 2015-16 academic year should call the financial aid office at (410) 334-2904.
