Founder’s Day held Nov. 18

Wor-Wic Community College recently hosted a Founder’s Day event to celebrate the college’s 40th anniversary. Remarks were given by Dr. Ray Hoy, president, Sen. Jim Mathias, D-38, Del. Charles J. Otto, R-38A, Bob Culver, Wicomico County executive, Jim Bunting, president of the Worcester County Commissioners, and Marty Neat, chairperson of the college’s board of trustees. Founder Robert W. Cook gave the keynote address, followed by a series of five speakers who shared their stories about their experiences with the college.
