In celebration of African-American history month, Margaret Ingersoll, a trustee with the Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance, will present a documentary titled “Voices of Indiantown,” on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m., in Room 101 of Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
Ingersoll will introduce the film, which documents the story of African-American sharecropper families in the Indiantown area of Dorchester County, and answer questions following the screening.
This event is sponsored by Wor-Wic’s cultural diversity committee with support from a Maryland Humanities Council grant.
