Twenty-two Wor-Wic Community College students were inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during a ceremony held recently at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The new chapter members include Brandy Coleman, Logan B. Duncan, Carolyn A. Miller-Cragway and Julia L. Wynne of Berlin, Elizabeth A. Patel of Delmar, Md., Leeann A. Kalb of Eden, Jasmine S. Murray of Federalsburg, Sydney B. Hudson of Ocean City, Erika-Gail Moore-Lecates of Pittsville, Brandi N. Webster of Pocomoke City, Callie G. Taylor of Princess Anne, and Bryah Armstrong, Tina M. Brumbley, Samantha M. Ferraro, Latisha Godwin, Sara K. McClure, Ashley N. Restein, Kahleo M. Smith, Lee A. Sprague, Katherine Turner, Rebekah J. Twilley and Paul J. Whitney of Salisbury.

Advisors of the chapter include Dr. Lynn M. Derickson, associate professor of nursing, Burma Freeman, assistant professor of physical science, Terry Thompson, associate professor of biological science, Jennifer L. Tusing, assistant professor of Spanish, and Dr. Coleen M. Weil, professor of nursing.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for community college students. The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter was chartered at Wor-Wic in September of 1987.
