“Soup du Jour” will be performed in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8 and 9, at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.
According to Judith M. Ferrand, professor of English and speech who is directing the show, this is a musical comedy based on a book by Hank Boland and Todd Mueller. Ferrand said: “the son of a famous restaurateur, his friend and bartender, his society debutante fiancé, and a tough-talking reporter disguised as a waitress, her society-covering rival reporter and their editor, are all searching for a famous soup recipe in this tale of betrayal, gossip, slander and love.”
Tickets, which are $10, can be obtained in the college bookstore at Wor-Wic, at the Avery Hall Insurance Group or at the door.
