Twenty-eight jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester and Talbot counties graduated in the 91st entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by LaMonte E. Cooke, warden at the Queen Anne’s County Department of Corrections.

Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, and Carl L. Crumbacker Sr., ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Richard E. Blevins, Troy A. Davis, Carl Morton Jr. and Garry A. Taylor of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Donn G. Rodgers and Taron D. Stewart of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Stephon L. Burton, Tiffany M. Carr, Justin C. Custis, Peggy A. Dennison, Julie L. Hardesty, Charles D. Huffman Jr., Jeremy T. Kyles, Valerie J. Long, Diane M. Massey, Keon M. Miles, Casey L. Morton, Daryl W. Revel Jr., Christopher C. Richardson, Angel N. Riddick, Kimberly A. Scarlett, Bryan P. Shreaves Jr., Jessica L. Vennie, Heather M. Walker and Harold G. Warfield Jr. of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI), Ryan L. Howell and Arthur G. Nelson III of the Dorchester County Detention Center, and Lamont W. Murray of the Talbot County Detention Center.
