Free “Echoes and Visions” reading to be held Oct. 3

The public is invited to attend a free “Echoes and Visions” reading and reception on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Novelist and poet Justin Sirois is the featured guest writer. His books include “MLKNG SCKLS,” “Falcons on the Floor” and “So Say the Waiters.”

Wor-Wic students who were featured in the 2014 issue of the college’s creative arts journal, “Echoes and Visions,” will read selections of their published work. The journal is published annually by the Wor-Wic arts club.

A book signing and refreshments will follow the event, which is sponsored by Wor-Wic’s arts club and the student government association.
