The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free commercial truck driver training information session and career fair on Friday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury.
Representatives from national and local trucking companies will provide information about job opportunities and answer questions about the industry.
Administrators and instructors from Wor-Wic will discuss upcoming Class A and B truck driver training classes that begin April 29. Drivers who currently have a Class B CDL license and are interested in upgrading to a Class A CDL license can learn about individual training that is available to help them learn the skills necessary to take the state examination.
Free booth space is available for companies interested in recruiting or networking at the fair.
Interested individuals and companies can call (410) 334-2815 to register or obtain additional information.
