Free “Echoes and Visions” Reading to be Held Nov. 7

The public is invited to attend a free “Echoes and Visions” reading on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College.

Author Jen Michalski was voted one of the best authors in Maryland by CBS News, one of "50 Women to Watch" by The Baltimore Sun, and "Best Writer" by Baltimore Magazine.

Her novel “The Tide King” was the winner of the Big Moose Prize in 2013. She is the author of two collections of fiction, “Close Encounters” and “From Here” and a collection of novellas, “Could You Be Here With Her Now.” She is the founding editor of the literary quarterly “jmww.”

A book signing and Q&A will follow the event, which is sponsored by Wor-Wic’s arts club and the student government association.
