Nineteen law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline and Talbot counties graduated in the 67th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall at the college campus, featured a commencement address by Chief David A. Spencer of the Easton Police Department.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, presided at the ceremony. Awards of certification and excellence were presented by Albert Liebno, deputy director of the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions in Woodstock, Md., and various agency representatives. Jason M. Caputo of the Salisbury Police Department was the class speaker. Closing remarks were made by Liebno.

In addition to Caputo, graduates included Logan K. Hallowell and Dwayne F. Webster of the Salisbury Police Department, Jeffrey R. Holland of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, Jill M. Bankard, Marie A. Caron, Nicholas G. Forsyth, Trevor C. Greenwalt and Sean M. McHugh of the Ocean City Police Department, Sherri N. Benton and Rondell D. Redding of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department, Edward L. Howard Jr. and Mark J. Parker of the Cambridge Police Department, Jacob E. Garvey Jr. and Kyle E. Willey of the Hurlock Police Department, Jason L. Adams of the Federalsburg Police Department, Taylor E. Leeson of the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office, and Daniel S. Downes and Megan M. Patchett of the Easton Police Department.
