Free Sexual Assault Awareness Presentation to be held April 11

The public is invited to attend a free sexual assault awareness presentation by Bob Hall, a national speaker who has presented to more than 900 college campuses throughout the U.S. and Canada, on Wednesday, April 11, at 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Prior to the performance, light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby.

Hall will speak about healthy relationships, safe boundaries and effective communication as elements of sexual violence prevention. Founder of a company called Learning to Live with Conflict, Hall has more than 20 years of experience delivering alcohol and sexual violence prevention education. He was nominated three times for lecturer of the year by the National Association of Campus Activities.

The event, which is being sponsored by the counseling office and student government association at Wor-Wic, is being held in conjunction with national sexual assault awareness month in April.
