Deborah Ager
The public is invited to attend a free poetry reading by Deborah Ager on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m., in Room 302 of the Student Center at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Ager’s first poetry collection, “Midnight Voices,” was printed in 2009. Her poems have appeared in journals such as the “New England Review,” “The Georgia Review,” “Quarterly West,” “New Letters,” “New South,” and in the anthologies “No Tell Motel” and “Best New Poets.” Ager is the founding editor and publisher of “32 Poems Magazine” and the founder of “Twitter Poet Party,” Twitter’s first poetry community.
A book signing and refreshments will follow the event, which is part of the college’s Echoes and Visions reading series sponsored by the arts club at Wor-Wic.
