The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation is sponsoring a 5K Run and Law Enforcement Cup Challenge on Saturday, April 2, at 9 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Proceeds will benefit the students of Wor-Wic.
Law enforcement teams are invited to compete for the Law Enforcement Cup, a trophy that will be passed to the winning agency from year-to-year. The challenge is open to employees of any law enforcement agency. Each agency can have an unlimited number of teams, with up to three officers per team.
The 5K Run is also open to the public. Trophies will be awarded to the first place overall male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in nine different age categories.
