Developers, appraisers, bankers, property managers and real estate agents can learn more about real estate ethics, fair housing laws and Maryland legislation by taking courses being offered back-to-back on Friday, April 23, by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
“Ethics in Real Estate,” which will cover the real estate industry code of ethics, recognizing unethical situations, predatory lending and illegal flipping of properties, will meet from 8 to 11 a.m.
“Fair Housing for Real Estate Professionals” will cover federal and Maryland fair housing laws and will meet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
“Legislative Issues for Real Estate Agents and Brokers,” which will cover foreclosures, lead paint regulations, and residential property disclaimer and disclosure statements, will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
