Learn about the roles that Native Americans, settlers, religion, tobacco and early government played in the history of Maryland by taking “Maryland: A History of the Free State,” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Wednesdays, Sept. 22 through Nov. 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
