Learn how political and social events influenced composers and trace the development of the symphony as a classical music form over two-and-a-half centuries by taking “The Development of the Symphony: From Mozart to Modern Times,” which is a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Fridays, Feb. 5 through March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
