Land planners, surveyors and government agencies can learn how to create, edit, manage and display spatial data using ArcGIS software by taking “Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS),” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Tuesdays, Oct. 5 through Nov. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
