New Contractor’s College Begins Jan. 20

A new series of construction-related courses called “The Contractor’s College” is being offered this winter on Thursdays, Jan. 20 through March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“The Contractor’s College,” which consists of six courses, is designed to provide comprehensive training on topics such as construction law, contracts, accounting, estimating, bidding, project management, insurance, bonding and risk management, as well as green construction.

The courses are being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic in partnership with the Maryland Small Business Development Center and Maryland Capital Enterprises.
