The public is invited to attend a free job fair being offered by the career services office at Wor-Wic Community College. It will be held on Thursday, April 1, from 2:30 to 6 p.m., in Room 103 of the Workforce Development Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Area employers from various industries are expected to attend the job fair. Some of the participating employers include the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Calvin B. Taylor Banking Company, Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel, Choptank Transport, Deer’s Head Hospital Center, Edward Jones Investments, the McCready Foundation, Mountaire Farms of Delmarva, the Original Smith Island Cake Company, Shore Health System, Trinity Transport and the U.S. Air Force. Other industries that will be represented include investigative services and home restoration.
Job seekers do not need to register to attend, but they should come dressed in interview attire and bring resumés to give to interested employers.
