Taught courses in curriculum theory, design, and development, as well as controversies in curriculum; Leadership, Diversity, & Societal Change, Intercultural Communication, and Philosophical Foundations of Education. Directed the first international doctoral cohort in Muscat, Oman.
Dr. Burnside guided students in their doctoral research and served as Chairperson of the Graduate Studies Committee, and as a member of the Department of Education’s New Initiatives Review Panel. She has served on the Diversity Task force and the University Technology Committee.
