After the drop period ends, a student can withdraw from a course online. If the student is not eligible for online registration, he or she must meet with an advisor. Withdrawal dates are listed in the academic calendar. A “W” is recorded on the transcript of a student who has officially withdrawn from a course.
Withdrawing from a course does not eliminate the student’s financial obligations to the college. Students who are receiving financial aid should be aware that withdrawing from a course could affect the amount of their award and jeopardize their eligibility for financial aid in the future.
