Hospitality honor society inducts new members

The Wor-Wic Community College chapter of Eta Sigma Delta, an international hospitality management honor society, recently inducted new members.

Leading the induction ceremony was Dr. Jae Jung, assistant professor of business and hospitality management and advisor to the chapter. The inductees included Jazmine Abu-Zaid of Ocean City, Ty Beach of Salisbury, Emily Bitner of Berlin, Angelita Hampton of Hurlock, Jessica Lee of Berlin and Robert Thomas of Salisbury.

Founded in 1978, Eta Sigma Delta is administered by the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education to recognize academic excellence by hospitality and tourism students. It is open to currently enrolled hospitality management majors with a 3.0 grade point average who meet eligibility criteria for induction into the organization.
