The Federal Work-Study Program is a financial aid opportunity to work on campus while earning money to help pay for your education. The program is designed to enhance the student’s professional growth by giving the student an opportunity for on-the-job experience. Pay rate is equivalent to the current Maryland minimum wage.
Students must meet the following requirements to qualify:
U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
Enrolled in a degree or certificate program
Enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester
Making satisfactory academic progress
Not in default on a previous student loan or owe any overpayments on a grant or loan
Be Pell eligible and have financial need.

Apart from the Federal Work-Study Program, students may also be hired directly by departments on campus.
Students must meet the following requirements to qualify:
Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
Must be enrolled in an associate degree or certificate of proficiency program at Wor-Wic Community College
Must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours per semester at Wor-Wic Community College
Must make satisfactory academic progress (minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 2.0 is required)
