William Hathaway

In celebration of national poetry month, the public is invited to attend a free poetry reading by William Hathaway on Monday, April 12, at 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

William Hathaway is the author of eight poetry collections, the most recent being Promeneur Solitaire (Chester Creek Press, ©2005) and Sightseer (Canio’s Editions, ©2000). He taught English for more than 30 years at various colleges, including Cornell University, Louisiana State University, Union College and Southampton College. Hathaway received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana in Missoula and his master’s degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

The event is sponsored by Wor-Wic’s arts club.
