Learn about the history, design, use, tone color and limitations of traditional orchestral instruments by taking “The Evolution of the Modern Orchestra and Its Instruments,” a new history course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Fridays, Sept. 24 through Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Students will have an opportunity to handle a sample instrument from each major instrument group.
