Child care providers can gain a better understanding of how grief and cultural differences can pose a challenge when dealing with parents of children with developmental issues by taking “Effective Communication with Parents of Special Needs Children,” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
