Maryland certified dental radiation assistants can review Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements on bloodborne pathogens and standard precautions by taking “Infection Control for Dental Radiology,” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Wednesday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
This course is designed to provide dental assisting students with an opportunity to maintain their license with the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners for Radiation Health and Safety.
