The public is invited to a reader’s theater featuring the play “Over the River and Through the Woods,” written by Joe DiPietro, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21 and 22, at 8 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall.
The comedy is about generational differences and the culture within a tight-knit Italian-American family. Single Nick Cristano from New Jersey lands his dream job as a marketing executive, but when he tells his family he has to move across the country to the state of Washington, it does not go over well.
Tickets, which are $10, are available at the door or in advance from the college bookstore at Wor-Wic. Proceeds benefit Wor-Wic’s Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year college students.
