The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free commercial truck driver training information night on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in Room 103C of the Workforce Development Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Truck driver training administrators and instructors from Wor-Wic will be on hand to discuss the upcoming Class A and B truck driver training that begins Feb. 13. Drivers who currently have a Class B CDL license and are interested in upgrading to a Class A CDL license can also learn about individual training that is available to help them learn the skills necessary to take the state examination.
Information will also be provided about possible funding options for eligible students, as well as potential career options available in the truck driving industry.
