Anyone interested in learning how to make desserts and chocolate confections can benefit from taking cooking courses being offered this winter by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Learn about tempering, varieties of chocolates and making edible creations like chocolate truffles by taking “For the Love of Chocolate,” which is being offered on Thursdays, Jan. 26 through Feb. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
“Easy, Elegant and Awesome Desserts,” which is being offered on Fridays, Jan. 27 through Feb. 17, from 6 to 9 p.m., will cover preparing professional desserts like black forest torte, ambrosia cake and apple galette.
