Thirty-five jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline and Talbot counties graduated in the 84th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Warden Douglas C. Devenyns of the Talbot County Detention Center.

Donald Rollyson Jr., an ESCJA instructor, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Kalvin Copes, Christopher T. Hardy and Ronald A. Mills Jr. of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, David C. Fisher, Scott M. Johnson and Dywon A. Mumford of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Nathan T. Andrade, Charlie Balam Jr., Daniel B. Cornelius, Brandon D. Evans, Charles S. Fontaine, Timothy M. Foy Jr., Donte A. Harris, Mitchel L. Hines, Joshua R. Hitchens, Shavar D. Holbrook, Adrian L. Humphries, Rodney E. Jarvi II, Thomas E. Leimbach, Christopher C. McCaskill, Robert R. Ryan II, Jason E. Scott, Danny C. Litton Jr., Richard A. Stigall, William G. Swift Jr., Douglas J. Thomas, James K. Tyler, Joshua T. Weisenburg and Jeffrey A. Wright of the Eastern Correctional Institution, Daniel J. Green and Luisa Stanley of the Talbot County Detention Center.
