Discover the field of veterinary medicine, and learn about outpatient systems and examination room procedures by taking “Veterinary Assistant Training I: Outpatient Care,” which is being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 17 through Oct. 15, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
An overview of the field of veterinary science is provided, along with office procedures and client relations, cell make-up and functions of organ systems, and effective restraint procedures.
