Learn more about how to plan for retirement by taking a course being offered this fall by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
“Retirement Planning Today,” which is being offered on Tuesdays, Oct. 23 and 30, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college campus in Salisbury, will cover risk management tools, investment vehicles and retirement income, as well as retirement expenses, roadblocks and estate planning. Another section of this course is being offered on Saturdays, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Wor-Wic’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club on Cathell Road in Berlin.
Current retirees or anyone planning to retire within the next two years can learn more about reverse mortgages, Medicare and Medicaid, social security, retirement plan distributions and taxes, beneficiary designations and provisions for surviving spouses by taking “Creating and Maintaining a Fiscally Fit Retirement,” which is being offered on Tuesdays, Oct. 30 through Nov. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
