Christmas Floristry Courses Offered this Fall

Anyone interested in learning how to design Christmas floral arrangements can benefit from taking floral design courses being offered this fall by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

“Floral Design: Christmas Arrangements and Decorations” is being offered on Thursdays, Nov. 1-29, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. The course will cover how to use flowers, greenery, bows and ornamentals to create table arrangements, door decorations and wreaths using various holiday motifs.

Learn how to arrange natural and artificial fruit, greenery and dried materials to make mantle pieces, door swags and wreaths similar to those found in Colonial Williamsburg by taking “Floral Design: Colonial Christmas Fruit Arrangements,” which is being offered on Saturdays, Nov. 10 through Dec. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Wor-Wic’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club on Cathell Road in Berlin.
